I was on my way back to the boat last night and a lady I talk to occasionally had a new brace boot on her right leg, and was using crutches. I asked her, Excuse me I couldnt help but notice you have a cast obviously, but was wondering on a scale of 1 to 10 what your pain level was? She replied and Oh? An easy 9. My reply, You mind if I pray for you? After about 2 times she smiled, and said it went down to a 2. By the time she walked away it was 0. I was hoping for more of a shock factor and gratitude, but she seemed incoherent since it was late and she wanted to get home to her live-aboard boat, and was tired when I bumped in her. Before she left I said, Jesus loves you, and have a blessed evening! she said thank you, and walked off to her boat. Yay Jesus! :D Confidence in my identity in Christ to love people to Jesus. The only way to God and what discipleship is all about!
