I was on the verge of death four years ago today. You could of found me passed out in my car with a needle in my arm. I was drowning in a sea of degradation and despair. My life had absolutely no purpose but to infect others with the deadly disease of addiction. If you would of told me then that I would one day be achieving straight As at a top ten public university, obsessed with fitness and always trying to be a decent human being I would of laughed in your face. My life now has transcended anything I once dreamed possible and I give all credit to God. Anyone who would of known me during my darkest hours would know I was incapable of anythign but destruction. Although I now struggle with many different aspects of life such as insecurity, ridiculous expectations of myself, selfishness, envy and bitterness, I know that these are all so minuscule compared to the life ruining mindset that once plagued my existence. Scott Mccloud, Victor R Abad, Hector Caballero, Ian Mascarenhas, JoEllyn Michaels Mascarenhas, You have all contributed so much in my walk and my faith. And then of course all of the people who have made my current life so amazing, Andrew Mata, William Andrew Spencer, Mitchell Glasheen, Bobbi Cawdrey and everyone else at OMC, plus all of my other friends. Shane McCoy, thank you for giving me a chance to excel in one of my favorite places in the world. You guys at LJK will always be my family.
