I was once in Geneva, Switzerland for a one-off concert with a female singer who had somewhat of a wild streak. We were staying in a very staid hotel filled with conservative Swiss and German businessmen. During the day, our Cuban bass player had met a number of his compatriots playing drums on the street, and invited them over to the hotel to jam after the gig. About 3 am, I felt bass rumbling through the walls of my room, and walked down the hall to the singers room, where a full Cuban jam was in progress, with four drummers, bass, and the singer wailing on top. Police were called, and it took some amazing fast talking from the road manager to keep us all from being ejected forthwith...The bass player and singer were like, Whats the problem? Dont they like music?
