I was one of the Packers fans that would have liked to see Mike McCarthy be more aggressive in certian situations in Sundays NFC Championship loss to Seattle. But McCarthy is a guy that likes to play the odds and I can never argue with that. When I read fans comments that he should be fired ... it makes me wonder if some Packers fans arent spoiled now. Only Bill Belichick has a better winning percentage amongst active coaches .659 to .656. I certainly think a fan has a right to his opinion but be careful what you wish for because winning consistantly in the NFL is a very difficult thing. Then following the most agonizing loss of McCarthys career comes the shocking news of the death of his younger brother. Its been a tough week. Then I was alerted to the sad and pathetic Twitter comments directed at Brandon Bostic after his mistake Sunday that no doubt was one of the key plays leading to a historical collapse. Many will only remember Bostic for abandoning his assignment and costing the Packers a chance at victory. I will remember him for the way he conducted himself after what could well be a career defining moment. When we are constantly bombarded with childish and arrogant behavior by many in pro sports ... here comes a heart broken soft spoken young man who vows to work hard and someday make it up to his teammates. All I can say is God Bless Brandon Bostic.
