I was out of the house for three and a half hours today. Got the much-needed oil change and had breakfast for lunch at Maxs; visited the Verizon store and came away with a new iPhone 6 Plus - dubious about the size but if I dont stick on the screen protector I can return it until January 15 - and enough jiggering of the bill that Im paying a couple of dollars a month less than I was but now have 10GB of data and unlimited talk/text rather than 2GB for each of two phones, and maybe my clumsy fingers will do better with the bigger virtual keyboard; avoided efforts to sell me an 8GB Android tablet or a wireless hot spot - if I desperately need to get my existing wi-fi only tables on line the iPhone 6 can be a wireless hot spot but I botched the dismount and let them sell me the case/car-charger/screen-protector/bluetooth speaker bundle for probably more than twice. Noticed that Mens Wearhouse, which I just about never go into, was having a two-for-one sale and went in to check out the wing-collared tux shirts. Got measured; still have a neck-width (big) arm-length (shortish) combo that most stores dont match, but they did. Sales/tailor guy explained that the weird way in which the lengths of the button/stud-side and the button-hole side seem never to match on me, producing a weird curved gap between the collar closure and the first button, which has been a decades long frustration for me, is accentuated by using studs and Ill do better if I just button that button and use studs on the rest. Thatll look weird. Nonetheless, bought the shirt, and since it was the only one in the store they had to order me another one for the get-one-free part of the deal. Home, and for some reason Im exhausted. I thought I was going to the movies tonight again but not currently up to it. Guess Ill stay home tonight unless I perk way up and am up for a late show. Currently doubt it.
