I was out with the boys, when we passed an emergency crew on the side of the road. When we passed, there was a car that had driven thru a brick wall and steel door of a now closed transmission shop. There was an elderly woman behind the wheel that was being talked to by the police and fire personnel. She seemed OK, but more emergency crews were in route. It reminded me of an incident several years ago, when I let an elderly woman have a space that I was going to take, and, as she pulled in, she hit the gas instead of the brake, and drove thru the wall and window of a hair salon. Again, luckily no one was hurt, but it was one of the scariest things I had ever witnessed. There was a common thread in both incidents, too.
