I was putting my sweet boys to bed and I was getting ready to turn - TopicsExpress

I was putting my sweet boys to bed and I was getting ready to turn out the light. Mikey said Momma sing Rock a bye. Of course it didnt sound like that but I knew what he was saying. My momma always sang rock a bye baby to us but she changed the lyrics about the cradle falling. I always sing it that way. He has been the sweetest boy lately. I was talking to him the other day and I said you are such a sweet boy. He looked at me and said sweet momma. Melted my heart. I always call him my sweet boy and he almost always tells me sweet momma now. He is trying to talk so much. It is still hard for most people to understand him but he can do it and thats all that matters. I know it will keep improving. He tells me a lot of things. He is eating like crazy. His GI appointment is this Thursday. I have been weighing him every so often and he has gained several pounds so I hope things will go in our favor. I havent met any food that he doesnt like. He devours everything. He is getting better at drinking but its not perfect. Hes still working on keeping the cup steady and drinking without spilling. He has a honey bear that he drinks out of sometimes that works well and he has also recently learned how to sip out of a straw. That is very new and exciting!! His walking is going okay. He is walking pretty well with his walker at school and at therapy. We are supposed to have one at home but I am not sure what the hold up is on that. We have the Upsee which we still try to get him to use. I guess he just doesnt like to be harnessed the way he has to be. He will walk with hands too. He like to push up to standing at the couch or at the desk. He doesnt have a good balance yet to stand on his own. Noel has shown an interest in potty training recently. With the boys, if one does something, the other one wants to. Mikey wants to sit on the potty too. He does go at school sometimes. Its just something I havent focused too much on yet. I havent potty trained in several years and I have never potty trained boys before so this will be a new experience. Well I didnt mean to write that long of a post. I meant to just tell you about him asking me to sing but then I just kept going :) Keep praying for all of us please. We have a lot going on with the other kids too so we could all use prayers. We have had a couple new diagnosis with some of the girls. We appreciate everyone and all the prayers and support!!
