I was quite lucky to bag this trophy watch today. It belonged to a retired HAL employee who received it as an award for completing 15 years of service. He cherished this watch and wore it very occasionally. I was quite surprised to see the sword hands instead of the typical pilot boat shaped hands on this watch. The gentleman however confirmed that nothing has been changed on this watch. I remember seeing similar hands and dial on a vintage Nishat watch as well. The watch as per the caseback was manufactured in the year 1974 at the HMT bangalore factory number 1.
