I was raised in a home where my parents provided structure, discipline and love. I was raised to believe that God can and will bless America. and that prayers are said with compassion and passion. I believe in respecting my elders and I raise my children to do so as well. Respect is given but never expected. The attitude we put forth is the same we should expect to receive. Never take what is not yours, be polite until polite no longer works. Fight for what you believe in, forgive when you can. Love with every bit of your being. Hold tight to what you never wish to lose. Anger is merely a tool not an award. Let it go easily when it does more harm than good. Never say ugliness unless you are willing to hear it yourself. Just a few lessons I learned from my parents. I hope to instill the same in my younguns!
