I was reading Isaiah 64 this morning and could not help but think about the middle east. How terrible that the hard lines and agendas of the few ruin the lives of the poor, destitute and homeless. Causing orphans, widows and broken men. Our Lord said love your enemy. Why? Because that. Is the way His kingdom truly spreads and glory is given to God. In this world of multiple options and solutions, one would think forward thinking leaders would realise we need different solutions - same old same old will just yield the same results. This post is not to inspire debate about who is right and who is wrong, but to remember those caught in the crossfire- may they find refuge in our God.
