I was reading a link about Democrats trying to spin Obama’s you can keep your health insurance statements into something other than an intentional lie when a thought occurred to me. “Have we cotton so used to spin doctors that spin is the same a truth to us?” I’ve been around for 65 years and I remember when spin doctors were hidden from public view. They worked in the bowels of the White House spinning truth into excrement to spew from politician’s mouths like they have the verbal runs. They were kept out of the way though, and we seldom saw them or heard them referenced. Things have changed. People on the news say that Obama’s spin doctors have prepared a statement. The wonder of it is that it is not a negative comment about the expected lack of veracity to be expected in the coming statement. It is accepted as the truth as politicians know it. Spin doctors are now out in the open. It is hard to find political statements that are not spin. I point out Nancy Pelosi. Every time I hear something from her I have to focus to regain my sense of reality. Her statements lead me to believe that she has a team of spin doctors who now believe their own spin. I am searching for an explanation of why they expect us to believe what they are saying. Many people believe that there are an infinite number of parallel universes. Perhaps they are commenting about the goings on in another space time continuum where they are telling the truth. There, that explains it!!!!!
