I was reading my Mothers Day card from my daughter Kaly, and I wanted to share what she wrote inside with you........Just so you all know what an amazing person she is..... Life will always come back to the basics, the basics we call home, the place we call harbor. Safe from storms or monstrous waves. (even if we experience our own) Soon Ill leave harbor, soon ill be swimming in the endless ocean of opportunities. It will be in all those moments, in all those experiences to come that I will be reminded of where I came from, my place of origin. Though this reality is all we choose to create, you created me. My every particle, every filter of my being. We chose one another, in all the other places we could have ended up in the universe, we decided to be here together. Youre a part of my everyday, my concious and sub-concious being. Youre a beautiful, humbling reminder that everything will always be okay. You taught me that we are all created equal. You taught me to love, regardless of gender, age, race, body or being. You taught me to accept all walks of life. You exposed me to the real world from the very beginning. Youve made this life Im living possible. And as these new challenges present themselves, its up to us to realize and acknowledge it is within our thoughts and actions to overcome. It is within our (mainly your) control to bring balance to the present. Life is a gift, and you taught me that. Im reminding you as we jump these hurdles together. Letting you know you will always survive, my warrior. You give me strength to carry on, to carry out my dreams, to be the change I wish to see in the world. I cry every time I read it..I love you my Kaly Girl♥♥
