I was reading this morning and the article said that the average dad spends 3 minutes per week with each child. It went on to say that home just isnt his scene. Hed rather be elsewhere. What does he do with the rest of his time? Is it a relentless hurried scramble to earn money 5 or 6 days a week with a need on the weekend to relax and enjoy himself,often in expensive and sometimes dangerous ways? This hit me between the eyes this morning. I was there but I wasnt there. As a grandparent now if I could share anything with you dads that read this it would be. The best thing you can give your children is time, time together it means the world to them. They can do without the new clothes,car,and even house if dad makes them his priority. 3 minutes a week.
