I was reading this morning during my devotion time how Gigi Graham talking about memories of her mom, Ruth Bell Graham. She said she remembers how she always had her Bible with her and ready to use it. It may have been open on kitchen counter, laid out on the ironing board or just at her bedside. I personally can remember my Grandma Crowder would be standing at the sink in her "house" dress singing the old hymms. She always found if funny how we could pick up her song and start to sing along, even at a young age. Of course we were the grandchildren of Slim Shankle too. So of course we knew those hymms. What kind of memories do we as parents or grandparents do we leave behind. I pray today that I can leave memories behind that reflect Christ. Please Lord....let my kids and grandkids remember me as a Christian mother... Let me ALWAYS SHINE FOR YOU!
