I was really hoping that Buhari will offer Nigerians something - TopicsExpress

I was really hoping that Buhari will offer Nigerians something different. But as a voter, he is disappointing me big time. All his promises are not elaborated; they are few words promises, very bogus and vague, which make my probing mind more confuse. I don’t hear current approach to things and situations; it’s undeniable that a lot need to be done in the country. A lot is required from the President of this great nation that other African countries looked up to. To digress a little, one of the African leaders said. If Nigeria sneezes, other African countries will catch cold that is huge. Now, will I be proud of Buhari as my president? Will I confidently show him off to the world as my president? Its goes beyond..……’I will water you and fire you besides, President Jonathan is doing most of the things he is promising he will do if elected. - Jonathan is building the roads, reviving the rail transport - He is working on the electricity - He is reviving Agriculture, destroyed the fertilizer racketing and corruption, so much so that Rice is in abundance (importers of rice are not finding it funny anyway) we have fresh products even in Dry season, cost of food items is stable -He is improving the airport, alot of gadgets to assist the easy day to day operations of airlines is in place and the airports wearing a new look. -He is improving on education, built almajiri schools in the north (gossh they hate him for doing that) took over the responsibility of the state government and build schools and improving on education - No more queuing at the fuel stations, infact for the first time in my life, I saw fuel attendants standing by the road and calling motorist to come buy fuel (priceless) but I really want the fuel price to go down, oga Jona take note. -He obeys the rule of law and gives respect to whom it’s due. -He is fighting the security challenges we have in the country, he is already equipping the military, and I foresee heads rolling after now, am sure you know why. -Those benefitting and living large with the salaries and allowances of ghost workers are hating him big time! Because holes for chop chop is closing, especially with all the approaches NOI is using to fight corruption in that sector. (There is hope) Seriously, between the two aspirants, Jonathan has the best approach to solving corruption problem, again like I keep saying, fighting this monster starts from our individual lives! Therefore, putting these candidates sides by sides, based on their credibility, antecedents, history, achievements, etc. my best shot is to vote for President Jonathan, who has come to realize that Nigerians know what they want and our demands are high and MUST be met, therefore I see a much improved Jonathan, (o well hes a lesser risk for me than a total confused package) The man Buhari has his strength and weakness like everyman, but I don’t see him being able to handle such a large economy. Confusion will be the order of the day, as for his advisers, their only agenda is to beat PDP and takeover power. That does NOT work for me as a person. I want more. Jonathan does not have it all, he does not have all I want in my president, but if the opposition will not giving me alternative in this modern time, I rather settle for the one I have in my hand, because it’s worth millions in the bush and hopeful, he will hand over to a more intelligent presidential material. I Lilian Ngozi as a person, a lady, an entrepreneur, an Estate surveyor, a daughter of Zion, I won’t go back to Egypt! I can see my promising land and am entering with my two legs and a better Nigeria for my children.
