I was really not following this until today, but these dogs were abandoned in boarding and are now being evaluated. I am still reading this...but why did this happen? Why does Gia have respiratory problems for example. Topic: saving dogs from shelter into boarding...what are the pros and cons of this? Boarding should be temporary. Would fostering breaks make it work better? Do not board dogs if you do not have a foster who take them even on a week by week basis to give the dogs a break? Just some thoughts I had. When people long-term foster they may fail at fostering and adopt the dog or keep fostering but not be able to accept any other fosters. Does or would it help dogs to give them foster vacations if they are in long-term boarding? What is the limit of boarding time that is good?
