I was recently told of a Pakistani tribe that , when attacked by the British , simply did not defend. Consequently they we all killed . I got thinking that perhaps there have been hundreds of such tribes throughout history and consequently the only ones left are left are the ones that defended and we are seeing the effects of endless defense. Perhaps these defenseless tribes were blessed with the knowledge there is indeed no death and to defend would only assert an illusion of death and thus sacrifice the knowledge of what Life really is. Perhaps now is it down to what is seen as the individual to not defend . Perhaps the condition of what appears to be the world today, is an effect of the fact the only ones left are the ones who defended, the ones that did not know / remember the true nature of Life. Perhaps its up to you, up to me to remember Life now. So what will it be? more defense? more war ? in the ultimate sense , the world i see is an out picturing of the inner condition. There is no world in Truth. , but i found the story of that tribe , the idea they didnt defend helpful. All stories of defenselessness are helpful. All such stories reflect a faith in the Eternal and the futility of war. Jesus is such a story.
