I was reluctant to commit to go to Synod this year. I had no good excuse, I get sick when I go to Chicago, I said. I coughed a lot I slept little, but the Lord wanted me there for others sake and my own. I hope I helped you decide we were trying hard to live up the the promise to be inclusive and loving. I hope If you dont climb in the same boat with me you will come along side in a dingy. You all feed my soul I have been starving it. I was not sure I wasnt playing church or that I was really was only pushing the boat off shore and staying behind. I gave my little the sacraments last night for the second time after she asked me to she has been afraid of my vestments and the wine was nasty. I dont know what was the catalyst other than to say it was prayers for all of you at Synod. Thank you for bringing your own dish to the table to place it there with the Lords feast. Thank you all for feeding my soul.
