I was rushing to get to my gate due to long queues at Sydney airport that I could not do my Maghrib and Isya prayers Jamak Qasr at the airports Common Prayer Room. I had no choice but to perform at a not so hidden nook of the departure gate with no idea which way was qiblat. Never in my whole entire life had I been more afraid to perform my Islamic rituals in a country where a Muslim had caused the deaths of 2 innocent people. I was actually feeling very embarrassed to be recognized as a Muslim. No thanks to the extremist who gave a very bad name to Islam.
