I was sent this article by Kathleen this morning -- makes interesting reading, especially as we were told that all holidays to Uzbekistan have been cancelled as from November!! --We were led to believe that it was because Uzbekistan shares a border with Afganistan. -and because the Americans use a corridor to supply goods to their troops, everyone is worried that when they pull out next year there could be trouble!! -- Very glad we visited when we did !!
