I was seriously blessed today. It may not be much to you. I went to the rent office to meddle, cause thats what I do. Anyway I walked in and said I did all that sweeping and scrubbing stoves and counters, and the City inspectors didnt even come to my apartment. They came last year when it looked like I was raised in the Joppa dump. Now I got to be still so I wont mess nothing up. The lady who is the social worker asked me what size pants I wore. So I told her ,very honestly , 28 in the waist. For some reason that thought this was funny . I dont know why a 247 pound man with a 28 inch waist would provoke such hilarity. Anyway a tenant had moved and donated some things to give to the tenants. She gave me one of those white canes that you can fold up , and has a ball on the end so I dont have to worry about punching myself in my 28 inch waist when I am walking with it . She also gave me a pair of size 12 work shoes that have never been worn. If you want to be an atheist thats alright with me. If you get mad when somebody say Jesus I can dig it. ( They had to stand back when they said it around me) , but I am still going for what I know . I remember when I was a kid we used to say go gor what you know . I know blood . Well today I still go for what I know ,but today I know the blood he shed for me on Calvary. I also know I like the way these shoes fit.
