I was sitting at the laptop, editing some photos, when I heard a familiar sound outside...the powerful diesel engines of the Canadian Coast Guard Lifeboat Cape Sutil which is based in Port Hardy, British Columbia. I guess they were on a local patrol which took them right by my place. I quickly grabbed the camera to grab some shots before they disappeared around the point but I neednt have rushed. It looks like they wanted to take some photos of the lighthouse so just before they went around the corner, they pulled a U-Turn and came to a stop in front of the station. So, while I was photographing them, they were also photographing me. I hope you enjoy the photos. Taken just now at Scarlett Point Lighthouse with a Nikon D7100 and Tamron 150-600mm lens.
