I was slapped in the face recently by the reality that I have a lot of wants and desires. I want to pass my test, I want to have a bigger home, I want to make more money, I want to lose weight, I want to be a mom, and the list goes on... This morning, I felt God whisper to my heart, in the place I needed to hear it most, "In My timing, precious daughter, in My timing." I have learned the hard way in certain instances that unless we are living in the center of His will, we will not truly be happy or have an inkling of true JOY. I believe with all that I am that He knows the desires of our hearts and will be faithful to keep His promises to us when we are faithful to Him. He is bigger than my "wants" and His plan for me is much greater than to satisfy me with the temporary things of this world.
