I was so excited when the end of the day came and it was time to leave work that I left my clean uniform and lunch box hanging on the refrigerator. I came around the corner with time to kill and saw that we had some hot coffee left over. My hands where full carrying tomorrows necessities and the handle on the refrigerator looked so inviting. I took full advantage of the opportunity to free my hands and poured a cup of coffee. Knowing how easily befuddled I get the supervisors came up to me asking questions trying to confuse me into working a second or third shift but I deferred to the secretary who was walking by. While she had successfully stolen their attention I got in my car and left but 20 miles latter realized she was in on the conspiracy. They were all after my trail mix that they knew was in my lunch box. So tomorrow Ill have to wear sackcloth and sing spirituals to hopefully make someone take pity and buy me some lunch.
