I was so inspired after attending the Confident Living 2014 empowerment session with Veverly Cookie Austin on December 13! I left thinking about so many things related to my financial, mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health! Two things that she talked about that particularly resonated in my mind was spending time with self doing NOTHING, and organization. Not only did I leave inspired, but I made a commitment to intentionally address both of these areas of my life immediately! She challenged us to clean out our closets, give some things away, and/or have a yard sale this spring. Well Vev as she called herself during the session, I am proud to say that I not only cleaned my closets, but my entire storage area in my basement as well. Talk about a task....ooooh baby!!! For the past 5 days Ive been organizing, washing, labeling, and throwing away items that I NEVER thought Id part with. Thanks for empowering us Vev! I look forward to my garage sale this spring as well as continued confident living!
