I was so pleased today to help Conflict Kitchen re-open their doors. Even though the police presence was heavy, and lots of media coverage, the line was at least 30 people long! I did have a bit of conflict...LOL I called ahead to order our delicious food for Patty and I (Great idea on her part to eat there today!) and they agreed to make the food for me. When I arrived I skipped ahead of the 30 deep crowd waiting to order for over an hour, and picked up my food. They let me know that I no longer could do that as they dont usually do call ahead ordering...They erred in my favor. I was conflicted because the 30 people in line looked at me in a very annoyed way. Should I have let my food get cold and wait in line until my turn? Or was I OK in approaching the cashier (as I did), skipping the line and paying the bill (as it happened)? Perhaps.The conflict is killing me. But the food made me very happy.
