I was speaking to a friend this morning and he said something that made a ton of sense. While in the military, if in combat, we were approaching an alley. One man goes down the alley and comes under heavy fire and goes down. You know that if you go down that alley to save him that you will more than likely get plowed down also. Do you sit there and contemplate whether or not you will or wont? Absolutely not! You haul your ass down there to save your brother, regardless of the dangers you may face. When we get out of the military, why do so many of us forget those ideals? Our brothers are falling left and right but we dont have the same attitude that we used to have.....To rush in and save him or her regardless of what may happen. The war is not over. It is continuing here at home but 4 times more of us are dying now than in combat. Will you rush in, under heavy fire, and save him? I damn well know I will.
