I was standing on the train platform Saturday, waiting to go to the Borough Market, and their was a girl waiting for the train in a pair of Jeans with holes in the knees and it got me wondering. In 1967 I was 12 got my first pair of levis, Ben Sherman, and Monkee Boots, remember it well. When the Levis wore out, cut them down and wore them over Kennington Lido, then after a while threw them away, This has been the case for most of my life, noticing how the denim has changed over the years and the quality not so good, compared to how they used to be. Just think if I had kept them they would be in fashion today--- Holes and all--- How sad am I after googling “ How much are your vintage Levis worth” it will take you to a clip from the Daily Mail last year, read this and weep. When you have --- please comment, --- I keep thinking, ah if only I kept them. If you still have them up in the loft or somewhere, – (Dont Throw Away, Put On Ebay).--- Hows that for a catch phrase.
