I was surfing on YouTube this evening when I remembered a 10 year girl who had sung on the Tonight Show when I was in High School. Her name ... which I remembered ... was Lena Zavaroni. I decided to search for her ... to see if that performance was there. And it was. After watching it, I was amazed with her voice again as I was back then. But then, as I looked at some of the other videos ... I saw that she had struggled with Anorexia. And even sadder was that she lost the battle and died. There was also a 6 part biography of her ... focusing on both the singing and her illness. Truly this was not the ending I was hoping for. Click on this link and listen to her. She will make you cry.
