I was surprised to read in the Latrobe Valley Express regarding a certain Traralgon ex- footballer turned National Candidate 8 yrs, and Member for for Morwell being criticised by New Labor Candidate Christine Sindt for the selling out the Morwell community by gifting the local Monash university campus to Ballarat, which is incorrect, and putting him down as a member of some illusory team of brainless footballers! I would like to advise Christine that you dont have to be an ex-footballer to be brainless! Footballers are not just footballers Christine! They are Trademen, Businessmen, Professional People, with families of their own, serving the Community......Their wives, some Professional and working in the Community...kindergartens, schools......So when you criticize A Footballer, or an ex-Traralgon Captain and Coach, and call the National Party Team a Team of Illusory Brainless Footballers - you are criticizing and unfairly discrediting a man who is achieving and it is a testament to his hardworking Performance and Popularity, together with the rest of the Community!..... An Apology would be in order!
