I was talking to someone earlier about when the kids move out and having the empty nest syndrome. I have let my emotions run wild since then. For 21 years the only title I have had is mother. Most times Im not known as Jennifer, I am known as kaitlynns mom or Austins mom and that is ok with me. Within the next year and a half though they will both be gone and what will I be then? I will still be there mom but it will all be different. They will have their own lives and not present on a daily basis. Im so use to taking care of everyone else and there will be no one home to take care of. My heart hurts just thinking about it.
