I was taught from the time I was 4 that this was awesome! That is my mom in 1989, two years after I became a professional TWH trainer. I still think that is over the top cool! When I chose to study gaited dressage, I also had to choose to leave that at the barn and relearn to think in a dressage mindset. Between my instructor Jessica Roberson Wright having deep conversations with me to help me see the new goals designed in roundness during our lessons and my friend Joann Williams, here, policing my language and thoughts into a better representation of dressage, I am only now just feeling it in a natural way that I can use and apply without converting it in my head, like trying to speak French! The point of this site is total immersion! It is the only horse site I participate on. I have chosen to move to the country of USDF and only exist in this realm until I can feel dressage, and speak dressage and think in dressage terms and respond using the dressage aids naturally without thought. I dont care about saddleseat here. That is for other sites in foreign nations like NWHA or WHOA. Come here and speak the language and feel the benefits of this country and you will be embraced by hundreds of people. Learn with us, we are mostly still in dressage 101 trying to fit in, in a nation that we stick out in like a dude with a purple Mohawk!
