I was thinking .. I do that sometimes .. that if occasionally we give a little description to a presented photograph, it might help to get across your feelings for the capture, edit and what you are trying to convey. You may of course, want to let the viewer have their own interpretation which they can still have after reading .. this is clearly a matter of choice. Rock A Wave In this capture, my attention was drawn to the father or older brother leading the youngster out to ride some waves at Soup Bowl .. framed by a rock that looks like a wave, curled and ready to break. In the edit, it evoked feelings of days when I ventured out in unknown waters .. friendship, the security that someone is there for me. I choose to keep the image close to original as possible with just a little crop, to enhance the look of the wave in the rock, colour and contrast ... because I think it speaks for itself ... and the colours blend well for our season of Independence.
