I was thinking about applying to this program. They have a cut off GPA for college. And I looked for my old transcript and wow, I had forgotten how LOW my GPA was. Sadly, I didnt make the cut off. I cannot believe sometimes that I made it this far in my education. I am thankful that the medical schools I applied to looked at my potential as opposed to my numbers. I never let my numbers dictate what I can do. I had the lowest grades in my chemistry courses and was often way below the curve during college. Who would have thought this woman would have the grades to teach anatomy while in medical school and study the LSAT in the midst of midterms and finals and still do very well. I feel a lump in my throat thinking about how far I have come in my confidence as a student... a learner. YOLO I am still going to apply.
