I was thinking about the there is no condemnation verse - TopicsExpress

I was thinking about the there is no condemnation verse today...and whether this is Biblically accurate or not...whenever I think of condemnation I think it typically refers to sin. Could this possibly mean that for those of us who are In Christ Jesus there is no condemnation for our sin from our Lord and Father? He is a loving God and knows before we slip up that we are going to slip up. Does He condemn us or reach out His hand to pick us back up and encourage us to keep going? I slipped up yesterday, and was thinking about this verse this morning. It led me to think that God is more about picking us back up and cheering us to keep going forward (trying to live righteous) than to kick us when were down with condemnation. So, how do you see God? Is He some mean Creator always pointing a finger at you when you mess up or a loving Father with His arms wide open ready to bandage our knees when we slip up? Thank you Father for Grace, Mercy, and Forgiveness...and Condemnation and Guilt Free!
