I was thinking ...and I wonder . Are we losing Barbados because we make all our decisions by treaties, and laws, and agreements, and what other countries do, and what other people write in books. We use to have pride in ourselves as a people, we used common sense, and local knowledge. we respected elders,, the church, and the schools. Honesty, trust and thrift were our way of life. we were cooperative. The Caribbean, even the world sometimes, looked to us for guidance. Where did we go wrong?
