I was thinking that if everyone treated everyone else like they were God, what would happen? Youd be surprised at where my mind wandered. Wed listen to the advice that person gave and then do something totally different. Wed then blame that person for everything that went wrong as a result. Wed say we trusted them but show by our actions that we lied. Wed second guess them every step of the way. Wed make fun of anyone who believed in them. Wed swear that person was dead or disinterested in the rest of the human race. Wed use their name as a vanity plate. Wed twist their words to fit our own agenda. Wed do things behind their back as though theyd never find out. Wed question why they allow bad things to happen. Wed use their name like a cuss word. Wed discriminate against people who didnt believe in them. Wed sit in judgement of others even though that person said not to judge. Wed apologize over and over again for not heeding what they said but continue doing exactly what we said we were sorry for doing. This list can go on and on but the point is that we treat God no differently than we treat people and perhaps with more disrespect and we wonder why things are the way they are. I dont.
