I was thinking to write about the following issue for a very long time but somehow missed it.. Kendriya Vidyalayas::: I myself have done my studies in Kendriya Vidyalayas as my dad was serving in Air Force. Sorry to say not all KV s have good staff. Out of the main two KV s the one in North India was far better than the one I studied in WB. To my surprise it is same still in Bengal and many of KVs run as sick schools. Teachers have no responsibilities. They simply come and go. During my recent visit to India I found my nephews, nieces and from my in laws side too the teachers are not doing a good job. Whole blame cannot be put on their shoulders, I agree. Number of students are more, may be difficult for them to handle. And as the children are not taught properly in school they lose interest in studies and reluctant to study at home. These children are sent to tutors for long hours. How sickening can it be. Children sit with books because they want to make their parents happy. I could see the stress building up in them. But in a play way method I could sit with them for long hours. We had so much fun. That’s what I believe Teachers should be well trained and only people those who really love children and are willing to part their education with them should come to this profession. I am sad, confused and perplexed how can this be rectified. I personally feel, Principal of a school has to be very vigilant, efficient and capable. Modi jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii kuchch keejiye..... or should I say - Smriti Irani smriti Smriti Zubin Irani - kuchch kijiye....
