I was thinking tonight of how precious our lives are. How precious my child is to me and the sacrifice that God made by putting His son on the cross. I had a very strong image of Gracie during communion. I remember telling people I will never get pregnant. It took us years to conceive-- we had given up. Then my brother Greg gave me a word, and a month later, I found out I was pregnant. That was God. One minute Im crying and the next thing I know Im calling my mom and dad to tell them Im pregnant. We trust in His timing and we rely on His promises. She is a miracle sent from above. His son was listening to my cries. Holding my hand through every circumstance, even through her birth. Thats an amazing love. He died so that we can live abundantly. Its a life we cannot take for granted.
