I was told by many that Hitch was aware of the National Atheist Party in the months leading up to his death, but that he was simply too sick to meet me. It would have been a great honor. Of all the public advocates for atheism, I feel the closest philosophical and intellectual kinship with Christopher Hitchens. And I can promise you that you have only seen the very beginning of my work in this arena. Now that I have embarked on my final year of law school, my goal is to use that education and credential to address matters of public policy. To publish cogent critical analyses of moral law and to expose it for the social cancer at the heart of it that it is. As a secular ethicist, I intend to champion the idea that morality is a decisional framework arrived at through social dynamism, not by fiat. I hope you will all join me as I enter this next phase of my public life.
