I was told that when i was worship leader at your church, you thought worship was fake and we seemed like payed performers, and very rarely did you feel the Spirit. It took me by surprise hearing that as ive never witnessed so many broken people at the altar service after service crying and being touched and healed. Wow. Now what is happening there? Ive thought about this for months ever since it was said to me. I dont receive that at all. Im still a worshipper and it comes strait from my heart knowing that the God Almighty loves ME. Yes, even me. The thought of the lives that have been changed through worship makes my eyes tear up and my heart dance every time i think about it. Thats where God began His work in me was through the praise and worship when i was at my weakest and most desperate point. Yes its also true that i have no music degree nor ever had a record deal as it was so clearly pointed out to me, but if worship is more than just music, then who needs a degree? I praise Him from the inside out. Im so sorry you feel the way you do. And just because im not part of your congregation anymore doesnt mean im not His child just like you. Do you really have the right to question why your people are still my friend? Or insist that we cut off our friendship? Gees, whos really in charge here? Last time i checked, GOD WAS.... and we wonder why people dont go back to church. Our family of Christians can really do some damage.
