I was told today that Dr. Cox said that the road ahead for me is still very long. He lost his son and he gets it. It is amazing how God places people in your life that you need at that very moment. He started his job the same week Haley died. I have read posts today from grieving parents who are being treated so badly by coworkers and bosses. Some of them are under the threat of losing their jobs if they dont get over it. I cant imagine the stress that they must be feeling. I am blessed to be under a boss who is in the club that nobody wants to join. So many of the parents in the group that I am in on Facebook had children to commit suicide. You have to watch what you say. Depression is an illness. It isnt about not being a Christian. You can be a Christian and still have this illness called depression. Ive never experienced it for long periods of time, but I have in spurts since Haleys death. I can only imagine how weary life can be if your depression lingers for years. We have to watch judging others and let God handle it. He is the only one who knows everybodys heart.
