I was trying to return a bike I got for my son for Christmas that was damaged to Walmart. This store was on Jane and Willson.There was about 20 people in the store and when I asked for help I was told oh yes sir, we can help you right away. Then no less then 8 employees started arguing about whos brake it was.I went off on my own to get the bike. Oh this is were it gos all wrong.In an empty store I could not fined one person to help me get the bike down.I saw a door open and stuck my head in and called out hello. A person came over to me and started yelling you cant be in here instead of asking how can I help you. I told him I need some help begrudgingly he told me go wait over by the bikes and Ill send George over. Well after 15min. I got the bike down my self. As I was inspecting the bike a man came over and looked at me I asked him are you George? He said yes, Then proceeded to tell me if you need air in your tires just use a pump on the shelf and walked away not filling the tire for me. So I started to fill the tires with air. After all this time out of nowhere a lady comes charging towards me yelling sir,sir you cant do that I lost it. I told her that her Boss told me to do it and he did not do it for me and I told her in stied of yelling at me she should be doing it for me. lol she quickly turns and walked the other way. Now I have the bike that I would like to exchange and I walk up to the front door with it were the first person that said they were going to help me was standing. Wait for it. I have not return the first bike yet and a person come up to me and asked if I need help taking the bike I have not paid for out to the car. Wow as the person I am I lol and told them no I need you to keep the bike up here Im going home to get the bike I would like to return and then we will make the change. WOW is this the state of customer service to day? I worked in a customer based industry for 10 years I never told a customer you cant. The only words out of my mouth were How can I help you. PLS leave a comment Id like to see how many of you have had the same experience.
