I was under the impression that Scandinavian countries were enlightened, but Denmark is certainly attempting to destroy that conception as they continue to murder helpless animals held in captivity at a Danish zoo. All I can say is this reeks of a psychopathalogical indifference to the diminishing life on Earth. In spite of other options, they continue to kill these animals -- in this case, four lions -- in order to add one new lion. This is the stench of humanity acting out of nothing else but a desire to save money -- the options that might allow animals to be transfered to other zoos cost money. As all corporate progress has proven, it is cheaper to kill than to act humanely in protection of life. I am disgusted, heartbroken, and ashamed to be a human if this is the best we can do for those we enslave.
