I was up all night long thinking about the joy I’m going to have - TopicsExpress

I was up all night long thinking about the joy I’m going to have today with my granddaughter and two grandsons. As I was thinking of these happy thoughts, it brought me to think about all the things in life that makes me smile. So, I decided to write a poem on one of the things I cherish the most, my husband. My husband has a tendency to fart a lot, and each time he does it brings a smile to my face. I linger for the moment when we are in bed together and he pulls the covers over my head and I get the privilege of not just hearing his farts but more importantly smelling them. So, I decided to post a poem that reminds me of the joy I have with my husband especially when he farts and empowers me to fart as well and for us to ‘Break the Barrier’ together and puts a new meaning to the song “Love Stinks”, I want this to be our song. So, Rick my one and only true love, I dedicate this poem to you. This poem comes from my Heart, Body, Soul and Mind. Not to mention from my great sense of smell. A fart can be quiet, A fart can be loud, Some leave a powerful, Poisonous cloud. A fart can be short, Or a fart can be long, Some farts have been known, To sound just like a song. Some farts do not smell, While others are vile, A fart may pass quickly, Or linger awhile. A fart can create A most-curious medley, A fart can be harmless, Or silent, but deadly. A fart can occur In a number of places, And leave everyone With strange looks on their faces. From wide-open prairies, To small elevators, A fart will find all of us Sooner or later. So be not afraid Of the invisible gas, For always remember, That farts, too, shall pass. youtu.be/Jkmw9oGIDhI
