I was up around 4 a.m. to scrub my room,my face and hands and all the food and utensils as Dinah commanded before I started on my signature dish, Buzzards Breath Chili, in preparation for our daughter in law Mandi and our grand daughter Maggies arrival this afternoon. Its bubbling to a conclusion as I write this and, except for Scrambled Dogs from it next week, Im done and done with my menu contributuons since both Dinah and Ginny have their own specialties(including cleaning up the kitchen)and I can kick back and watch the Braves, Kentucky and Florida lose and spoil my entire weekend except for the time I can spend with our two sunshines. Long post, long recipe. But after dozens of variations over the past 60 years or so Ive found the one Ill be sticking with....
