I was very sad to hear of the passing of Sheila Marsh from Wigan. - TopicsExpress

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Sheila Marsh from Wigan. There was an article in the newspapers about the hospital allowing Sheila her dying wish of seeing her beloved horse one last time. Sheila Marsh (no relation) was the person who introduced and sold me my first Part-Bred Arab, Bansari of Wilray, many years ago. I moved into Pure Bred Arabs after Sari, and never looked back, so grateful to Sheila for getting me involved and putting up with me when I liveried with her in Golbourne. She owned horses all her life, and was very involved with all the local shows and events especially Leigh & District Riding Club. An avid animal lover, she had many pets, which she adored. This wonderful gesture by the Wigan NHS Trust would have made her very happy at such a sad time. I read the news that Sheila lost her fight against cancer only a few hours after she said goodbye to her horse. I wish Id kept in touch, Sheila was such a character and she had a big heart and cared for many over her life-time. I send my condolences to her daughter Tina, and to her friends and family. Please can anyone who knows Tina...can you pass this on.
