I was walking down the main street of Vicksburg Mississippi just checking out everything. I passed this window and glanced in. Is that a bar? I kept walking and thought to myself that was a bar. Why wasnt it listed on my Google map? As I kept walking curiosity grab my mind. I needed to know why this place was missed and why it wasnt available to me yesterday. I make an immediate u turn and head back. As I walked through the doors I was greeted like I have been coming there for years. It was a good feeling but at the same time i felt it was a bit elegant for me. A guy in the back to my left with a laptop begins a conversation with me about the river. It wasnt but a few short minutes before he bought me a beer. As the conversation went on I find out he is the owner of this restaurant/bar We talked a lot of business talk and some football. Business always grabs me more than a game. I was immediately all ears with lots of questions. I hope I not boring the guy to death came across my mind at one point. But I wanted to know more. Hes like everyone one else trying to keep a float. The big companies are crushing all these small towns. I watched every customer that came in and judged them all as I spoke with David. I find hes not on Google maps. Im like what? I ask him why hes not listed. David tells me Google wants $1800 to be listed. This pisses me off. Being a business owner before I know how these big corporations suck you dry like a vampire on a virgin. I cant have that. Im a fighter for the little man. I went to work. Within an hour or so he was listed. Dam I felt good. Let me tell you about David he is an owner who is always on the floor making things happen for his customers. I found him to be friendly and sincere. He does have a good head on his shoulders for business and not many business owners do. But I was surprised that he didnt show me the rest of the place. I thought where I was, was all and a small bar on the second floor. Not true this place is twenty thousand square feet I was amazed and did not expect that. Its elegant down stairs in the dining area and a party place on the third floor which is more my style. Now Im really impressed and I dont get impressed often. This place has it all going on. I watched the plates as they came out of the kitchen. They were all done to perfection. This is a business that will succeed. Great staff, good food and can handle any event. He has everything covered. The bases are loaded and I see a home run. Stop in to KJ Rivertown Grill and you will see what I mean. Say hi to David and meet his crew.
