I was watch TV this morning and saw that banks are resisting opening accounts for low income individuals and I had a dream... A dream that on Sundays all minority churches would deposit all their church tithes and offerings is the same credit union... a credit union created by said churches. Said credit union would provide banking services for their members and low income individuals who cannot find banking services anywhere else. Said credit union would become the financial pillar for its community, by providing banking services such as checking accounts, savings accounts, mortgage, etc, to the churches, church members and other members of the community, who cannot find these services elsewhere. Then I started searching the internet and saw that such a banking institution existed once. It was started in 1888 and went by the name of Capital Saving Bank...I had a dream that such an institution can start again.
