I was watching a Science Channel program called “Through the Worm Hole” hosted by Morgan Freeman the other night. During this one segment Mr. Freeman was discussing the orbits of the planets and the time it takes for each planet to complete one orbit around the sun. For instance Mercury being the closest to the sun takes about 116 days to orbit whereas Saturn being much farther out takes about 30 years. It really got interesting when Earth’s orbit was discussed. Every 7 days or so Earth’s orbit shifts ever so slightly. This slight shift in Earth’s orbit has an untended effect of adding daylight on every Monday causing Mondays to be longer than the other six days of the week….Ahh T-Bone, listen man, I know Monday up in the office cube can be a long stretch but there is no need to continue to make up non-scientific stories just because it’s Monday and you’re still all up in the office cube.
